Review for Lone Star Chevrolet Body Shop

Spoke with Elizabeth. She said her husband purchased the vehicle from this business. Since his experience was great, he went back to purchase a new vehicle for his son. His son had the vehicle close to six weeks before it was hit and vandalized. When the vehicle was taken in for repairs, the business acted as they had gotten them to make the purchase. The overall experience was horrible and they have to return the vehicle again. There are bubbles in the tint on two of the windows. The manager contacted her to communicate her vehicle was ready, but then called back to let her know they were working off an old invoice. The vehicle still had not been painted, which delayed the vehicle by a week. They received little to no information during the repair process. When they did receive information, it was not accurate. There was a lot of going back and forth between the business and insurance company. Messages were left with her, her husband, and his son. There was a lot of confusion. She was not satisfied with the thoroughness of the person who prepared the estimate, the way she was treated, or the communication. She would not recommend them over what has already been shared. Her husband was planning to purchase another vehicle from this business soon, but he will not make the purchase there now over this visit. David knew exactly how they felt but he did not call to apologize. She said she is aware everyone makes mistakes, but an apology would have been good.
