Review for Lone Star Chevrolet Body Shop
Kris P. on 07/17/2013
Kris said he was very disappointed that they allowed a third party contractor to fix his steering column. He went to the business because he wanted manufacturer equivalent service. All the billboards said Chevrolet. At one point, the lady told him they really are not Chevrolet. He took the vehicle in because it had been broken into. He could not even get his key into the ignition. They called a random contractor and he messed it up. The vehicle had to go back a second time. There was no communication. They just took the vehicle in, had it 3 days, and called when it was ready. He is a mechanic and could have done the work himself to save $500, but he filed an insurance claim because he wanted the work done by a manufacturer authorized business. He stated he knows how things work. He worked in a comparable business over 10 years, and even ran it for a few days. His steering column likely still has scratches underneath the housing. They did not replace all the parts, but it functions.
