Erik said his evaluateion was because of the temper of the manager who is not the best person with a customer. Erik stated the vehicle was at 50 percent quality type work, but when he said something about it, the manager got really argumentative with him. It was fixed and it did turn out okay, but the manager could have saved himself a lot of argument and getting aggressive by just agreeing initially it would be taken care of. It was not a very good experience. The person he dealt with throughout the process was Hernan Hernandez, and he did a terrific job. Unfortunately he wasn't there at pick up time and he dealt with the manager. There were a lot of particles under the clear coating. Erik was disappointed this business didn't have better quality control. On his last experience at this business the paint was running. They took care of it, but they should have better procedures for checking out the vehicle before returning it to the customer. He's a layman and it shouldn't be him pointing things out to the BMW people. This visit they were able to fix it in about an hour while he was there. The last visit he had to have a rental longer because it took a little longer to fix the paint runs. The tracking system and emails worked well in keeping him informed. He said he was completely satisfied with the thoroughness of the estimator, but it's not working out so well when they found additional work. The adjustor has to come again for approvals, so that process is a little lengthy, but that's not BMW and it's how it's worked out with insurance. Overall it worked out pretty well. Erik wasn't satisfied with treatment but that was altogether the manager's fault due to the above. He would not recommend this business due to this experience.
