2018 Chevy Trax

I love my Chevy Trax and have 40,007 miles on it. Up to last week I have had to put a new battery in it and a new set of tires. Almost to the day mileage hit 40,000 miles, my AC stopped blowing cold air. I had a new cooling unit installed and a month later the air stopped cooling. I had to replace the condenser, which was damaged due the it being low in the front, poor engineering of San Diego streets and me hitting front parking curbs. Otherwise it drives great.

Unreliable vehicle

I have already had to replace the engine, and the tires twice, the rack and pinion set in my steering column.Ugh…money pit! The quality of the vehicle is subpar. I do not recommend and will not be purchasing another Chevrolet vehicle again going forward.

Love my Trax

I have enjoyed my Trax. Just for the record, I will share a few things I have not enjoyed: Black strip across top started popping up soon after buying; I glued it down; Rubber across front under grill scraped off @ every low point in road; 1x in 90 deg. heat I got in car w/out key & doors LOCKED! ! couldn't unlock doors, after a few min I was able to unlock back door--very scary!! Other than those occurrances, the car has been good.

Love the car

Car is comfortable, handles well, reasonably good fuel economy. Good all around visibility from the driver's seat. Minor annoyance that the driver's seat cannot be moved all the way back with the back seats folded down. Major annoyance: The operation of the phone (I use an Android phone, Samsung) when used with Android Auto and connected to the infotainment system is very glitchy and often freezes and crashes, some functions will not always work.

Needs better engineering

If you’re bigger than 5’5” go next car size up. Fold down rear seats only useable with driver seat all the way forward. The larger fold downside behind driver seat. Sun visor only covers half driver window. Needs more sound proofing to hide road and motor sound, other then these pet peeves runs well

I really enjoy my Chevy Trax LS.

The TRax fits right into our garage next to my husbands car . it's the right size. some cars would have been too long. it's the right size for me, I like that have hands free calling. Good gas mileage. I just wish I had Cruise control b/c my other vehicles did, I made the mistake of assuming I did have it. I didn't check when I bought the car.

Love it so far! Need to take on a road trip.

I haven’t had it long enough to give a thorough review yet. I like it very much so far! Dan was very helpful and Roberto was great explaining the financing. I don’t like pushy sales people. I get the facts and make my decision.
