Build quality can be improved

Vehicle performance is great, I truly enjoy driving it, comfort is great, audio quality is good, cabin feels awesome with ambient lighting. the only downside is build quality is very bad, I own the 2023 gv70 I already hear the noise from door handles, arm rest quality is very bad, overall the build quality seems to be not so great.

My wife’s best car

This is my wife’s car, she has had several Cadillacs, Acura and bmws but she absolutely loves her GV70. I think the only thing she might like better is a newer model in a year or so!

Continued unusual noise from drivetrain.

Love the car will be getting another next summer. Not happy with the loaner car program. Do not pick up my car and the wait list for a loaner is not acceptable (more than a month!)

2023 gv70

Vehicle has been pretty good for the most part but elements of bad and inconsistencies start to show after extended ownership. Service centers are quick to push away issues and hard to get addressed. Doors alignments were good at purchase and now seem to be off. Slow updates to UI and reliability of system UI is off at times with android auto cutting out or system lagging. The car as a whole is decent but in the back of my mind I always wonder if I should have gotten the BMW X3 M. The car was purchased in 2023 and window trims are all oxidized. My active sound design doesn't work and has been brought up with service dept telling me it sounds thr same as 2024 2025 and 26 models. Fact is it doesn't. The features package for the Sports prestige in the 2.5t model is questionable when thinking more about it. Essentially losing features when adding it, but it was the only way to get the 3 spoke steering wheel. I just found it odd that getting a fully loaded 2.5t didnt add HUD, or full leather seating while also removing door ambient lighting, and custom ambient lighting features. These are all things that didn't need to change. Especially from things on the software side. Othere than that the car drives nice. But poor mpg along with everything else takes the overall rating down to 7/10.

Genesis GV70 sports

The vehicle is a nice drive, pleasing to the eye, and performs nicely. The trunk release gets stuck and I have to press the release a second time to open. The dealership is aware that it has been reported by others. It gives a boost of speed when in sport mode and handles the road and curves well.

It’s a great car. I do have issues with the computer it’s gets confuse

I like everything about the car except the computer system get confused at times. Sometimes it will get stuck or not give me what I’m looking for or need. It’s quite frustrating at times.
