I love this car

I owned a 2014 Sonata 9 years. In 9 years I put tires and a back rotor.And averaged 34 to 44 miles to the gallon. This new Elantra has better tech. and it is alread giving me 48 mpg. The seats are heated and cooled. The smart cruse control is the best. This car almost drives itself.I expect no different with it as I had with the Sonata.

Terrible road noise

The road noise needs to be significantly reduced and the suspension needs to be beefed up to better handle bumps on a road surface. Maybe beefier tires would help. More torq needed for better response to needing power in a hurried moment.

Elantra - Perfect Car

The Elantra Hybrid exceeds my expectations. Friends are also very impressed with the Elantra. I was not expecting to buy a Hyundia. Stopped on the lot just to see what they had. I was very impressed with the selection they had. Best choice I ever made.

My first new car, and it's great

I chose this car for the safety, great headlights, mileage, and the ACC and lane centering. I was shopping for a utilitarian option, but found myself loving it for both function and how nice it looks, sounds, feels, and performs. A surprise gem!

Needs work

HEV integration needs work Suspension as well. Love the interior body style. Paint quality could use some work. Road noise and suspension not to my liking. Worried about the longevity of the engine. Giving it a chance

This is a Hyundai?

I first heard about the 2023 Hyundai Elantra in in article Car & Driver. The fact that it was rated so highly by them and other auto magazines made me take a second look. The more I researched it, the better it looked. We narrowed our choice down to the Elantra and one other similarly priced car. One test drive proved everything I had read was true. We loved it!

Nice Hybrid

We like the vehicle with 2 exceptions. The first is the diamond cut designs on the sides. The second is the whistling noise coming from the sunroof. I presume the latter can be fixed when we take it in for service.

Loaded with safety features.

This car replaced my 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited and I am extremely impressed with how many features were added or improved in just a few years. I like the MyHyundai app which allows me to start, unlock, and lock my car. I like the standard suite of safely features included, but I hope future model years add more (such as Heads Up Display and 360 degree camera). The Bose sound is incredible. The seats are very comfortable. I wasn't too impressed with the exterior styling but I have grown to appreciate the unique look. And I'm getting great gas mileage, about 53 mpg.

Good experience

Sales consultant and other staff friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Some discrepancy in financing arrangements such as date of payment. Additional research would have helped in making the decision, such as increase in cost of insurance and tires, which almost doubled from previous vehicle. Lesson learned after purchase. Positive testimonies from other Hyundai owners aided in making decision to purchase, plus having a local dealer recommended.

Nice car great gas mileage

Hybrid is the way to go. The car is easy to drive, has lots of features. Gas mileage is very good. Warranty is also a plus. Including ten years on cars hybrid battery. Very quiet and has lots of features.

If you want a good warranty

Vehicle interior trim scuffs too easy bose audio driverside speaker blown in under 3 weeks despite the system being intentionally underpowered to keep from blowing speakers we have a speaker blown....

Great gas mileage for long trips, less than ideal on short trips in town. Loud engine idle. Loud back up camera that can't be turned off. Speedometer should be larger. Time feature should be larger. Hood appearance is strange and looks like it should rest lower.

Great car, only con is highway mpg isn't exactly what it's labeled to be

Great car for the price. The design exterior and interior is fantastic. Dare I say sexy. The features you get for the price is unbeatable. Fuel economy is great but on highway isn't so great, especially when using cruze control.

For mileage the Hyundai Hybrids are extremely hard to beat.

At this low price point the combination of styling, ride, safety, and mileage the Hyundai Hybrids are almost impossible to beat. I have gotten on a 700 total mile trip 66mpg. I am very happy with the vehicles mileage.

It's such a smooth ride!

I wanted a reasonably priced hybrid, and after looking at the Prius, I definitely liked the Hyundai Elantra Hybrid a lot better. There were more amenities for the price, and I love the warranty and free scheduled maintenance and Bluelink for 3 years.
