Elantra review 2026 HEV

Terrible transmission switch from EV in the 1st and 2nd gears causing incredibly high rpm. Lane assist and departure turn off automatically for no reason despite having proper lanes. The cars reaction to throttle is slower than any car I've driven. Seats trap too much heat, the excess use of plastic makes the car look cheaper than it is. There is no space in the side doors to fit anything. No sunglass holders, no space for a spare tyre, just make the experience not as great as it could've been.

Good product, used to be great.

I love Hyundai, it's the perfect product in my opinion with every one I've owned, except this newest one. I purchased the Hyundai blue hybrid elantra because I loved my previous one, the sales associate told me it had all the same features as the other one and it does not, he lied to me saying we were going to have blue link and be able to remote start the car and all that but the vehicle doesn't have those capabilities, next time I purchase a new car, if Hyundai doesn't include blue link into the blue trim, I'm going to back to VW, as a life long fan of both, unfortunately it just doesn't make sense to continue purchasing Hyundai if they are going to include less and less features in their blue trim.

Limited trim best option

For all the features it beats the competitors hands down. Some areas show cost savings areas are there; only driver one-touch, paint inside trunk lid and firewall isn’t finished off like the exterior.

Great car. Great On gas. Paint chips too easy and cabin noise from outside like there is either very thin metal or no sound proofing. Car radio speakers are weak. All in all I love it

Best buy, or lease.

Leased for 3 years. I'm sure to purchase it after lease's end. The 3 driving modes work very well in different situations. Fuel efficiency is tremendous.

I am very confused with all the new features in the car -- They are me

One of the things that I do not like is when I set my radio for the channel I want when I shut my car off & then i put it back on I have to reset my radio -- If I don't do it correctly I have a problem trying to set it back to where I want it ---
