Overall positive (I hope)

The car gets lots of compliments. I have the calligraphy model with all the bells and whistles which is very nice. I have already had to have something replaced due to water damage (the car was 1 month old; it was a recall) and with the seat recall; there have been two recalls in less than 3 months which is too many. It seems to have poor control in the rain and the side cameras also don't work in the rain.

Paliside caligraphy

I bought the calligraphy thinking the 2nd row seat folds with a press of a button but now after this engineering fault . It’s all manual and cumbersome. Why charge me for a only the line where it doesn’t even hold up

I love the car, but several things don’t seem to work properly

The car is wonderful. There’s so many things I love about it. I don’t love the fact that the seat memory is very inconsistent. Also, we have had zero luck trying to program the garage door opener to the buttons on the car rearview mirror. The remote start doesn’t always work. Sometimes when I’m driving in traffic with lanes, the car will try to move me even though I’m inside the lane. It’s a little disturbing because I have to fight the steering wheel not to veer outside my lane. There are some other idiosyncrasies that are bothering me however it’s just too much to write here

Comfortable

After 1,500 miles and only one trip longer than 15 miles, mileage is less than expected, even though I try to drive like full bowl of hot soup is on the dashboard. Front seats are comfortable. I'm a tall and large person. Second row of seats is most difficult to adjust. Dashboard layout is difficult to see some of the lower and far right icons and controls. Three recalls in 10 weeks, although only one was corrected by a software update.

Palisade Calligraphy Hybrid

The vehicle itself is awesome, beautifully made, very comfortable and luxurious, Runs great, tons of safety features. The only reason I rated it average is because the mileage we are getting is not even close to what was presented/expected. After 1900 miles we are getting 25MPG, not 35MPG!! So disappointed. Would have bought a normal gas-powered Palisade Calligraphy and saved a few thousand had we known the mileage was not going to be as presented.

I’m disappointed in the loss of features rather than increased safety of those features with the recalls. I bought the car with features that are now taken away with no plan to reinstate them.

There are have already been several recalls and it’s missing several nice features. I got used to in the Chrysler Pacifica. At least the long-term warranty has been easy to use so far.

Worth the look, its just the emblem thats holding others back.

All around a great vehicle, traded in my 2022 Audi Q8 Prestige and couldnt be happier! It may not corner the same but this is built for convienence. Great access in and out and plenty of room with easy controls with buttons that you want instead of buried in the touchscreen. Coming from my Audi, the Hybrid Calliraphy has plenty of power when you need or want it. The towing at 4000lbs will fall short for some & accessing the tow hitch itself hidden isnt quick, I expect they make a minor change for access in future years. OTA updates are automatic, app work very well for controls also. It's missing a power tilt/tele steering wheel, thats about it for driving... parking is also easy with all the cameras and warning systems. For a 3row suv its going to be hard finding a better vehicle. - no issues with vehicle to this point, seat recall done OTA also. Would recommend to friends and family

Better than Expected

When I started my research for a new SUV, I thought I'd get a new Kia, but I did my due diligence. My research ranked the Kia Telluride, Ford Explorer, and Hyundai Palisade as the top 3 options, so I went to test drive them. The Telluride and the Explorer were good, but the Palisade blew them away with its power, accessories, comfort, mpg, and warranty. Now that I have owned it and been driving it for 3 months, I only love it more. I am very happy with it, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a new SUV.

Good but not great

The vehicle mechanically performs well. Some features are below average. 1) Lots of battery draining issues early on which I had to troubleshoot down to the Electronic Key you can add to your phone. Since disabling, no issues. 2) The controls, specifically the Infotainment screen software as well as button placement are not ideal.

More toys than useful Amenities

Calligraphy Model - more fancy tech than useful practical user needs. Examples. Passenger cannot give GPS commands only the driver as the mic will not hear them. Driver 1 & 2 feature needs to be eliminated. Car is too singular driver focused. Having to reset everything when a second driver uses car. Once set, it cannot be eliminated. Other functions when set cannot be undone. Heater is either very hot or when lowered turns on ac to be freezing. Appears the designers just wanted to play with all their “toys” rather user friendly design. Most new features are marketing gimics than practical applications.
