Great little truck.

This little truck has been problem free . Wish the turbo engine was available in the front wheel drive models . Could use a little more leg room in the back seat area . Another foot of bed length would be great . The fit and finish are great . Very comfortable and fun to drive . Fuel mileage is great . Infotainment system has been flawless . Navigational system is superb .

Not satisfied with info system.

Only 6000 miles but seems reliable. However, sick of info features not working correctly and dealer no help. Also to many controls on dash instead of more convenient locations.

The worst I don't purchasing experience of my life!

The Santa Cruz activity package purchase has been an ongoing nightmare! We were totally ripped off. My husband and I have purchased several new vehicles in the past with great results and truly wonderful experiences. This purchase however, has been a nightmare. Every possible ancillary contract was added. We relied to about our trade in. The acting GM (and that does not stand for good man-more like ghastly mistake), was the most rude, arrogant liar my husband and I have ever come across in business. The purchase of our vehicle has negatively affected so many aspects of our lives. They lied about are trade-in amount they promised. They caused our credit scores to tumble. They added every possible ancillary contract they could without our consent. We did not receive those contracts for 14 months after the purchase. This is just the tip of the iceberg! I'll stop here as I am starting to shake...seriously.

Purchasing our 2024 activity package Santa Cruz was a huge mistake.

No electronic adjustment passenger seat. No glove box light. The bed cover leaks like a sieve.

Overall a average to good truck.

Average to good truck (really a 'trucklett' it's so small). I liked the tech, i like the truck in general but the seal for the truck bed storage compartment came loose and Hyundai never had the replacement seal available which had water leaking into the body of the truck rusting it. Brand new truck in it's 3 year on the market, you'd think they'd have parts for it. Nope.

Very decent suburban utility vehicle

Transmission is wonky at times. Hard plastic in the interior scuffs easily. Retractable tonneau can be opened while vehicle is locked. Exterior plastics fade quickly. Tonneau cover restricts load space. Piano gloss black?? Why??

2024 Santa Cruz

Overall this is a nice looking small truck that does most of the things I was expecting when I purchased it. However it has some really strange bugs and some missing features that I don’t understand. ie…. Non dimming rear view mirror, the windshield wipers can barely be lifted off the windshield to clean under or replace the blades, the wipers don’t have even pressure distribution across the usage area. WHY is there no place to stow sunglasses in the headliner. The seats are hard to me and I am not a large person. The cabin fan needs a lower low speed, it’s noisy.

Transmission issues

While driving, the truck would drop down to 16 mph and 3,000 rpm with the gas pedal all the way down. I had to pull over (while trying to not get run over), turn it off and restart after a couple minutes. Then it would run correctly—-until the next time it decided to drop to 16 mph. Had it in service 3 times during the 2 months I had it. No codes or red lights.

Good Small truck but not good mileage

I bought this "truck" for my wife. The tiny truck runs ok, but the fuel economy is terrible. I get better mileage out of my RAM 1500.
