Looks good and fun when it is working
’ve been dealing with persistent electrical issues in my 2018 Jeep Wrangler that no one has been able to diagnose or resolve. I’ve taken the vehicle to a Jeep dealership five separate times, and each visit resulted in a bill of at least $1,000 — yet the underlying problem remains completely unfixed.
I then brought the Jeep to a specialized mechanic who performed a 4 hr diagnostic wire trace and was able to provide me a 5min diagnosis. He explained that one of the modules is failing, but because there are dozens of these modules and the issue only appears for a few seconds before resetting, he cannot isolate which specific module is causing the malfunction.
The only way to identify the faulty component would be to replace modules one by one, which would cost more than the vehicle is worth. At this point, I’m left with an electrical problem that cannot be pinpointed, no workable repair path, and no support from the dealership despite repeated attempts.
