I like the town car, It has a great ride! Though it is a Ford, and does have some issues, But Dan keeps it running well. So sorry Ford retired the Town Car! Though I would not
recommend the car because of the unreliable issues!

Lincoln Town Car Cartier Edition
I was lucky to find this 20 year old Town Car, used with only 66,000 miles. This car had some minor glitches which I repaired. The 4.6 liter engine and transmission is solid and reliable. It is a quiet and comfortable for my 225 lb. frame. It has a four star crash rating. If you find a good one have a mechanic check it out and BUY IT.

Perfect car
Owning two Lincoln Town Cars, I am very impressed by their comfort, gas mileage and their reliability.
Both my '99 and '02 Lincoln Town Cars have had some work done to them to bring them to the level where I can just drive them and get the oil changed every six months or so.
I love them.

Like piloting an ocean liner
Our 1999 Lincoln Town Car has about 46,000 original miles on it. The ride is so smooth that it almost puts you to sleep. More like driving an ocean liner. Of course, the car's technology is severely out of date. The sound system consists of a radio and a cassette player. We get about 20 miles to the gallon of premium gasoline. But it is truly a luxury auto in the classic sense. It's a keeper.

Odd rating for a salvage vehicle
My car has been in two major wrecks. A little scary from frame damage but comfortable and still going strong. I had it painted so the damage does not look so bad. I have been told it's in amazing shape for the shape it's in Just like me

It's like driving your couch!
I liked my 1999 Lincoln Town Car so much that when I had the chance I bought a 2002 Lincoln Town Car! One is silver and the other is gold. I drive 300 miles a week roundtrip to work so I switch off every week or so. Keeping the cars "up to snuff" has taken some money out of my pockets but I feel the trade-off has been fair since I paid cash for the cars a while back and now that most major work has been done on both of them I can just have the oil changed every six months and just drive them. 24 MPG is a great deal on these old majestic beasts and they look good doing it. I'll probably start replacing them in a few years with some newer model. Both are Signature Series which include a lot of the good stuff. Here's to happy motoring!
