Aged sports car is Max. Fun!

The car is an N3 model 2006 Miata I have driven for about 16 years. Why? My wife won't let me buy a 911! The acceleration is good, the six-speed shifter is oh-so-smooth, & the original soft top does not leak. Because of its age, it's needing more repairs but beats car payments. The major annoyance are rattles in the top latch with the windshield, but top down, no rattles!

Fun sporty and beautiful

Ive owned for 4 years and I love this car! Handles country roads, great handking! So much fun to drive. Im over 1000,000 miles and some stuff is starting to need to be replaced. Great car! So glad I bought it!

Affordable sporty car

The miata is fun to drive. Attention to detail when into designing the miata. Excellent value for the price. There is a loyal following with the miata. The local miata club in Richmond VA is very active with dinner meeting and road rallies each month

Absolutely love it!

Very fun and reliable car! I've driven 135,000 miles and have had no major issues. Other than normal maintenance like oil changes, a tune up and brakes (just recently serviced the back, the front is still from the factory!), the only thing that I've had to replace is the starter. I expect to be driving this car for many more years to come!

Only Car for Me!

Considering I have owned a Miata since 1995, I can’t imagine not owning one. They are incredibly reliable, fun to drive and very very versatile from carrying my Christmas tree to hauling furniture., I love the drive!

My MX-5

I use this car as a summertime convertible to tour the backroads with my wife, heading for dining destinations within a 60 mile radius of home. It is used for casual transportation, only. It is a great "sporty car" driving experience for us. Very happy with it.

Great car! Owner of four Mazdas. My 2006 has been the best in terms of minimum maintenance. If you are looking for a quiet car, you need to choose a different car. It is sporty and drives hard. I get 32 mpg. It has 200 miles and still running strong!

2006 MX-5 Touring

I just purchased a 2006 MX-5 Touring from a private owner. The TCS Traction control on is stuck off so this will be a slightly skewed review. We own a 2005 Miata which is the last year of that design. The 2006 NC is completely different in many ways. The 2005 NB drives and handles very tight like a soap box car. It's very fun to drive and feels like you're going 90 when you're going 60. The interior is a bit tight for me and I'm just average sized. The 2006 NC is slightly broader and longer so it feels about 10% bigger and heavier. It also is a ton of fun to drive and the interior is just right for me. The cloth top is even easier to use and it has ample cup holders, an item that was actually lamented in another review. I like them a lot. All the buttons that turn on things are good and not complicated. I can see well all around. When I push on the gas I smile and thank myself for finally buying one. I feel lucky that I got the version that fits me. The 2005 NB is excellent and is quite fun with lots of grinning occurring.

Great Car

Bought this vehicle as a used car 1 year ago and completely satisfied with it. It's a lot of fun to drive and very zippy! I had a Mazda RX7 for 26 years before I bought this car. Mazda builds a great vehicle.

Love my car; hate the visors

I've had my car since 2/2006. I love my car but absolutely hate the visor assembly. I've had it repaired 2x under warranty and it broke again after the warranty expired but too expensive to cover the cost myself. Why are they using so many cheap plastic parts?

Fun, fun, fun!

The '06 Miata is great fun to drive, handles like a much more expensive sports car, is super reliable, and maintenance is very inexpensive. I highly recommend this car!

My Little Toy
