Get a second opinion from any car repair that you need.
I have a 2019 dodge grand caravan. The engine was running rough and so I took it to the local Mount Pleasant dodge dealership. After putting this part in and it didn’t work, and then another parts, and it didn’t work and they said I needed a new PCM and those kind of parts and it still didn’t correct the problem and $1700 later, they still didn’t know. So they put a couple more hours of investigation into the engine and said I needed another $3700 in parts to get it going correctly. My son who is the used car manager of a large car dealership in Saginaw said I had to take it to Bryan at auto lab. So I left the Dodge dealership took it to Bryan at Auto Lab. Gave him all the information that the Dodge dealership said had to be done and Bryan researched it found the problem, said it did not need what the Dodge dealer said and for $540 later he fixed it and it runs like new again. He said I didn’t need any of the parts and stuff that the Dodge dealership said to put in. And all it was was a short and a wire from the PCM. I recommend you always get a second opinion as to what needs to be fixed on your vehicle.
