Our courtesy wash service is taking longer due to the automated system being out of commission.  We are paying our new detail company for a hand wash and vacuum.  We will provide this service, if requested, but please be aware it will add approximately 1 hour to your service time.  Please let your service advisor know when you check in for future service work if you would like a courtesy wash, and we will make the arrangements.

"It would be nice to have a free car wash for the service."
It would be nice to have a free car wash for the service. The rep told me that the car wash machine broke down which I disagree. It was just her nice words to say "no"

Dear Mr. S.,

Your advisor did speak the truth.  The service wash has been out of order for several weeks.  The dealerships are looking at upgrading the machine.  At this time, we are not repairing the old automated system.  Our new detail company, who started 9/11/17, (shortened by Hurricane Irma) is hand washing all vehicles for sale, in the mean time.  At this time, we are not offering the free service wash.  We sincerely apologize if you were counting on this courtesy service at your first service last weekend.  Please contact me prior to your next visit so that we may give you the status of this courtesy service or make other arrangements.

Thank you for taking time with me on the telephone to allow me to clarify how your owner's manuals list the base, or  minimum manufacturer recommendations.  These are the same whether you are in Alaska or Georgia and do not factor in driving conditions and geographical factors.  That is why they also instruct to check with your LOCAL dealership for further recommendations.  We are able to inspect your vehicle and let you know what we see and recommend for the "severe driving conditions," that Atlanta falls under per Hyundai's description.  We also advise you what services are recommended to avoid more costly repairs down the line from what we find as well. 

That being said, I have already communicated with our service team to remind them to notify our valued customers of these recommendaitons BEFORE performing optional services. 

Your time and feedback helps us drive change positively forward, and we look forward to assiting you with your vehicle needs in the future.

i think there may be an issue as your service people keep leaving. not good as most dealerships keep relationships for a long time with their service people.

Thank you for your feedback, and having taken valuable time to complete your survey.  We are making strides and changes through feedback, such as yours.  While your observations are true, we have lost several valued employees over the past few years, please bear in mind that many of these people made moves that to jobs that were significantly closer to their homes, relocated with family transfer, changed occupation and promotional opportunitie, and the like.  We have also seen the RETURN of employees.
