Thank-You Eric. Hopefully the next tme you're in, our new waiting area wil be finished. :)
Hi Mr Hechvarria and thanks for sharing your experience with us. We're sorry your truck broke down. Whenever anyone breaks down away from home, it's never a good time. Our policy here is, in cases such as yours, we will do the best we can but we will not cause our loyal already scheduled customers to be recheduled or put off. Clearly it's not fair to them. What we do, as we did in your case, is let you know the worst case senario. In your situation unfortunately ALL of our technicians were booked up for 2 days. What we also do, as Roger did, is inform you that if we get ahead of schedule or an already scheduled appointment cancels or reschedules, we will certainly jump on your vehicle and get it repaired. In the end your truck just needed a new transmission cooling line replaced which is probably closer to half an hours time counting the clean up afterwards. I'm sorry that we don't disregard our many regular & loyal customers in favor of a one time customer from out of the area. It's a balancing act that we as a very small shop try to do and have been quite successful at for the last 30 years. Hopefully you can see it from our position as well. I've been in your shoes myself. I've broken down in CT. in the middle of the night with a flatbed truck and was tied up for 2 days. So I know what it's like. I give the shop who got our truck back up and running credit for doing the same juggling act that we do to get me back on the road.
