Came in because my PT Cruiser suddenly was overheating. I figured out that the radiator fan wasn't coming on and that by turning the heater on full blast the car wouldn't continue to overheat. Not ok on a hot summers day! So, I took it to Cartex as they've always provided excellent service and value.
Cartex found that the fan was working when they checked it but the OBD computer identified that the fan was drawing too much current and hadn't been running. Upon further inspection, the associated relay was determi ed to be intermittent. Both the fan and relay were replaced. I believe most places would've replaced only one of the items, which would've resulted in another failure.
