This is not a fair statement. The car you had just purchased was a 1999 VW Passat V6 engine with 99,000 miles on it. You brought it in with oil leaking literally EVERYWHERE. We put die in the oil, ran for a day and found & repaired what we found to be the biggest leaks. The front end of this car (bumper, grill, headlights, A/C, radiator etc) all has to come off to get to front of engine. We repaired 4 leaks. Then you brought it back & we repaired another leak in the same vicinity for absolutely NO CHARGE because we may have missed it on the 1st go around.
You were also informed (as is written on work order) that there are still other leaks. Every gasket & seal on this engine is extremely brittle and will continue to have leaks. You were very attiment stating quote "I don't have any money". We did the best we could in your budget. If any of the gaskets or seals we replaced are leaking...it's under warranty. This is a very hard & expensive engine to work on.
Why do you have a problem with the 6 different smog checks we did for you? They all passed & with some cars being 14 & 23 yrs old with over 150,00 miles on them, you should just be thankful they passed.
We went above & beyond trying to make you happy & we honor our warranties.
