Our oil was changed 4 the 1st time on our truck & the mechanic's only used 6 qts. Our truck requires 7.4 qts. Our last oil change here. We bought our own oil, had 9 qts in the box & the mechanic put all 9 qts of oil in the truck. Really!! I thought mechanic's are suppose to know all about ur vehicle. Apparently they didn't. Even with techno that is available. Pretty scary if the mechanic doesn't even know how many qts of oil a vehicle takes.. Glad it wasn't smthg major they worked on. Well it could of been if we didn't drain a qt of oil out. Also, dropped our vehicle off on a Thurs. night. called the shop at 1:50pm, we were told the vehicle was just going in. The mechanic got backed up. called again after 4pm, was told they just took the truck in. Just wish we were told,they were too busy on that day to work on our truck. We are very disappointed. Mechanic's are a doctor for your car. Too bad they even don't know how much oil goes in a truck. We thought they could be trusted.
