Always take two time to get it right
Was referred by good friends.
People are nice enough
But I have begun to question if I am just falling through the cracks. It seems almost everytime I have work done I have to come back. It is very inconvenient and no one there seems to care. This last time it was brakes took two times and almost $200 more than it started out. Was told new bill $106 got there it was $178 when I asked why it was more I was told the $106 was cheap & didn't fit "Shrug"

As the owner of Comptons Automotive I would like to say this customer is completely correct, except for the not caring part, we do understand the customers busy schedule and for the most part we tried to make it as easy as possible. Travis is my son and still in training, and yes he defiantly made a mistake on the quote and the shrug, which makes me furious, I have since corrected him on that and that should never happen again. The part being left off the repair, yes that did happen and we have no excuse for that. That particular incident happened when I tried to close the shop down on a Friday so I could send my whole team to Greensboro for training, two of my techs stayed for half day early Friday and had to leave by noon to make the 2pm class, we had bad communication and so therefore we missed putting the part on. And the tool under the hood, that was totally unacceptable on our part, the tools are expensive and if fallen in the wrong place under the hood could have caused a lot of damage. The quote in question had to do with the brakes on the vehicle, several months ago the vehicle came in with a vibration while braking, when we inspected the brakes we determined the front rotors and rear shoes needed to be replaced, we replaced the parts and since the pads and shoes seemed to look ok we felt they would be fine, when vehicle came back for a brake vibration again, we replaced the rotors and drums at no charge and decided that it may be a good idea to replace the pads and shoes, since we were not charging to replace defective parts we only asked the customer to pay for the new brake pads and shoes, when we went to install rear shoes, the shoes did not fit properly and so therefore we went a more expensive brand which we did not get the differance in price approved.  The bottom line is this customer is correct on her review and I am glad she took time to share it.
