(I don’t usually endorse shops)THE LAST HONEST SHOP IN PORTLAND
Anyone who knows me knows I grew up in a shop because my dad was a mechanic. He passed away last year and I had been my own mechanic, until I was hit by a drunk driver in December 2022. The truck I was driving was totaled in the accident, and the Prius I used for work commuting had a catastrophic failure of the hybrid assist battery. Every other shop in town quoted me $1000 or more over what I ended up paying for this shop to undercut everyone else for the replacement part PLUS labor less than anybody else. I overslept after some extra work and he stayed late on a Saturday because he knew I needed the car for work at 6am Monday morning. This guy cares, he’s honest and offered a loaner, if he couldn’t get me on the road by Saturday. THEY ALSO HAVE A FINANCE PROGRAM THAT ANYONE WITH A BANK ACCOUNT CAN QUALIFY FOR! I can’t say enough good things about this shop. I grew up in one, and will not take my vehicle anywhere else.
