I am very sorry that you feel that you were taken advantage of. When your wife brought in your vehicle on a Saturday complaining about an exhaust noise, we put the car on the lift and showed her the two hangers that needed to be replaced because rust had broken them loose from the muffler. We asked her to leave the car or bring it in on Monday for us to correct the issue. At that point the muffler could have been saved. Unfortunately, you brought the car a week later when the muffler had broken off. This could have been avoided had we performed the fix in a timely manner.
