I guess they helped me…
I’ve used Don’s Car care many times over the years. I’ve never had a problem with the actual repairs. Don’s is no frills, zero recommendations. “Here’s what you need done, yes or no?” I get inflation but it seems there is just an acceptance that car repairs are expensive. Deal with it. A brake job that was $275 a few years ago is now $480!! Midas is cheaper!!! That shocked me. Reading the bill the next day it said something about “there was no oil on the dipstick when 1st checked”. Ok Don didn’t say anything to me about this. Fine. I know my car and was there for brakes. I will say I trust the repairs at Don’s but it used to be a very fair priced local business. It used to be cheaper to fix and maintain your car. Now it’s cheaper to buy a new one and that’s not cheap!!! A brake job on a 7 year old car that originally cost $14,500 shouldn’t be $1400!! Yes, this includes front and rear pads and rotors AND rear calipers. Also, I guess I’m old but we always have to do the rotors. Used to be pads for 80 bucks. Oh well, young people accept $12 fast food burgers so…
