Campground Savior!

was on a hunting trip and my 2018 F-150 decided to have a “cranks, no start” issue. I was ~75 miles from home, with a camper, and the closest Ford dealership/service department was an hour away. I found Free Bird Automotive…Caleb, around 9PM via a Google search that reflected nearly 100 5-star ratings. Called him a little after 8AM the next morning and he was able to work me in later that afternoon. He drove an hour and a half to get to me, had the problem figured out in less than 10 minutes, and was researching parts immediately. He gave me the quote for work and headed out for a 45-minute drive (one way) to get my fuel pump/sending unit and a new battery. I asked him to call me when he got back to the campground so I could help him lower my more than half-full, 36-gallon fuel tank…but he didn’t. I was amazed to see that he had my tank out and was about to remove the part when he called me to bring my key down to him. He got the tank stabbed back in and the truck fired right up. He finished installing it, installed my battery, and made sure everything was good to go and was headed home by 11:30PM (45 minutes away).
It was an outstanding experience and I’ll always reach out to him if I ever have any trouble with my truck again. His prices are more than reasonable and his work was extremely professional and top-notch! He saved me a $700 tow bill for my truck and God only knows for my camper. That’s before anyone would’ve started fixing the truck and charging me for labor/parts. Was such a relief when the truck started up!
