Larry, just to be clear, you came in for a B service because the maintenance light was on indicating you were due for the scheduled service, which is not just an oil change. We performed the complete inspection as that service demands, which includes replacement of air filter, ac filter, and synthetic oil change. But that inspection demands (per Mercedes) to perform a brake inspection as well, which takes a mechanic and time. When you were informed that according to the service and inspection that you needed to replace those filters and your brakes were at minimum spec, you declined those services since it cost $$ to replace those items, you decided to just have oil changed, however the mechanic performed the B service inspection you requested and I only charged an hr to do that which is very fair. We have a business to run and I have mechanics to pay for their time just like any other business. I'm sorry you found that unaffordable but we were simply performing the service that you requested.
