Verified CustomerAir conditioning repair has become a luxury item and quality parts are not inexpensive. We offer a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty with all services. We supplied an estimate for a NEW AC COMPRESSOR (not a remanufactured part). The labor is quite extensive and not an easy job for the compressor replacement. The only services renedered was the AC test to find fault in the air conditioning, about $72.00 total for the testing. Unfortuanately for this job parts and labor and a NEW AC COMPRESSOR installed totaled abour $1850.00. It is not uncommon for this cost for a labor intensive repair. Yes you may find a lesser cost AC compressor with a reman compressor, but as a rule we prefer the NEW part over the reman as the dependability has proven better with performance and longevity. I am truely sorry for your dissappointment, but I am sure you will find that our prices are within market range. It is our goal to deliver quality parts and service that perform well. Good luck
