They definitely know how to balance tires.
My sons' 2001 Olds was making a whine that sounded like a wheel bearing to me, and I also felt like something was out of balance. Turns out, the whine is just the way the tires on the rear roll on smooth pavement. The car needed four wheels balanced, though, due to a shimmy/wobble. They got rid of that! I've paid for wheel balances elsewhere that didn't do squat... Now it's smoothed out nicely.
