"Smog check"
On the way to Auto Club to renew registration when my wife realized we need a smog check. We went straight to Quality Auto Service because of previous great prices and service. We were in and out in 15 minutes. Great friendly service again.

"I had a weird noise I'd heard only once when pulling into a tight spot in a parking lot while steering wheel was turned hard."
The guys took a test dive attempting to reproduce problem, only heard a weird noise once, saw no sign of strange wearing. Charged me for only a half hour diagnostics and said all seemed OK,

I spoke to Scott the day this report came to me. Scott had purchased his own rebuilt part for this repair (a master cylinder) and only wanted us to replace it and bleed system. It had been leaking brake fluid all over the engine compartment for about 5-6 months and had rags piled up around master to soak up fluid. When he originally called for an estimate the job was quoted to replace the master and he said he would clean it up himself. Not sure why this was even an issue.
