Yesterday on 9/22/23 I went to your shop for the same apparent water leak that started about a month ago. I’ve been refilling the expansion tank to keep up to the recommended level.
However, your service advisor, I believe his name is Ivan, told me that the coolant leak is not from the water pump itself, but from the gasket or O ring of a crossover tube pipe going to the water pump / casing. And is not covered under warranty...What?!?!?!?!...
The repair order work description clearly says that the “The water pump assembly, along with gaskets and water pump belt were replaced” and tested…
I expect “The Car Clinic of Miami, "Where Honesty Meets Quality” to honor the written pledge and the 3 years / 36000 miles warranty, without proceeding any further in the legal complaint claim process.
Unfortunately Mr. Ivan lacks Professional Customer relations and knowledge of Warranty evaluation. Even sounds like he is doing every possible way to avoid complaints from customers to reach the attention of Fernando Aguilar by always saying he is not there. He says he will return your phone call and all kinds of stories...So far for two consecutive weeks...
