1) Mike SLAMMED the door at my face for TWO times because I care about my car and want to offer a way that I feel comfortable with to remove a possibly stuck oil filter cap. And yes in the reply of this bussiness they will emphasize that I entered their service area for about 3 mins and stood far away almost hugging the wall from where they were performing the job trying to talk to the mechanics on a possible other way to remove the stuck cap. This would be a classic logic error that excuses others in order to cover up their own wrong action. DON'T BUY THAT. Regardless me entered the service area or not, this is absolutely NOT the way to treat a customer! By the way it was raining out there perhaps Mike just wanted a concernced customer to stand out there getting wet while trying to gain understanding on what they are trying to do on his car through a little window. Mike's angry and offensive surprised me very much and I could not come up with a single legit reason for his all of a sudden such attitude unless the service area is unpresentable. Don't say that it's your insurance policy that does not allow any one other than workers be in the service area. No normal people purposely enter the area to get hurt and put you in trouble! They just care about their cars and Mike seems NOT showing any sympathy on that.
2) I made it fully clear to Mike that I am aware the oil filter cap may be stuck and normal appproach of 3/8 drive wrench may not remove it. I further acknowledged and agreed that if the cap breaks upon removal using more aggressive way I am willing to purchase a new cap from them and cover additional costs. All I asked was letting them try my own specialized oil fiter wrench with a longer 1/2 inch drive breaker bar for more leverage before they use their way to remove the cap. And they don't want to do that not even listen to me. Mike mentioned it serveral times that going their way may break the cap and I would have to purchase a new one from them. They were not willing to take a moderate approach suggested by customer and eagerly jumping to the most aggressive approach and suggested that my approach is "a waste of time". I will leave the implication of Mike's action to who are reading this review to digest.
3) DON'T BUY the reply from this business that our service record indicates that no service was performed for this customer. Of course, I take my business to other places that are more trustworthy. At least they DO NOT SLAM DOOR ON CUSTOMER'S FACE.
I am always an easy going and reasonable person and in fact this is the first negative review I ever posted on the Internet. After visiting Mike's Rad Air Complete Car Care and Tire center Strongsville, I could not suppress the urge to share my absolutely bad experience with them. My experience with Mike's Rad Air Complete Car Care and Tire center Strongsville is a classic example of how the distrust between customers and auto shops builds up. If you plan to visit Rad Air Complete Car Care and Tire center Strongsville, beware that Mike is extremely guarded up about what they are doing in back there and will try all his resorts to make you go with "his ways".
I would NOT recommend this business to anyone who wants to be envolved in auto services, does not to be kept in dark, and loves and cares about their cars!
