I took my sons 2005 Audi to this Rad Air Complete Car Care and Tire Center because radiator fluid was leaking. They told me it was a hose and the cost was $600.00 I agreed for repairs then three day later they tell me I need another part and my bill will be closer to $1200.00 and if I didn’t repair this part the car wouldn’t run. I reluctantly agreed feeling pressured, for my sons safety in his vehicle. A week later Rad Air Complete Car Care called to say the repairs were complete. Me and my son arrive to pick the vehicle up and it want start! I was mad at this point telling them a new battery was installed so why is my sons vehicle not starting? They told me that there technicians left the lights on draining the battery and to come back in a few hours to pick it up. I replied NO they would haft to deliver the car because I had to work. When they delivered my sons Audi it was smoking like it was when I originally took it there. The delivery tech explained it was fluids that may have spilled and burning off. Causing the car to smoke. My husband got up the next day to check my sons car it was still smoking he then called Rad Air Complete Car Care again and informed them of the issues they tolled it back to there Rad Air, with a promise to fix the issues. Called me again three days later assuring my husband that it was repaired again the car start smoking. So they tolled it again 24 hours later called us to say it was the water pump and it would be an additional $500 to repair. My husband called another shop and paid for the vehicle to be towed to the new shop. Toni the mechanic at the second shop charged us $600 to fix the vehicle and to inspect the repairs previously done by Rad Air Complete Car Care.He said No new parts were installed no repairs were done! To say the least I was very upset. When we tried to have a conversation with Rad Air Complete Care about our concerns they were very rude and only demanded more money. I am a black woman and I feel like my race played a huge factor in how I was treated. And at first when they thought I was a single black woman they were extremely aggressive until they realized I had a husband. These people at Rad Air Complete Car Care our sketchy looking and I believe they were motivated to rip me off due to drugs! Do not take your car there they are not honest people and their mechanics suck!
