I took my car into Rayco to diagnose a steering problem. The steering seemed to be binding and slow to respond & return after a turn or maneuver and I was hearing a squeaking in the front end when going over bumps. As soon as I pushed down on the front end and Bob heard the squeak; he said “That’s your ball joints, their shot”. Bob drove the car as I sat next to him and described the steering issue to him and he confirmed that the ball joints were causing the problem. He put the car on the lift and sure enough the ball joints were rusted out and the seals cracked and damaged.
I was holding off getting my AC fixed, knowing it was going to cost me some dough and also my right rear window regulator was shot. I was holding the window in place with trusty duct tape. I added it all up in my head and figured on a reasonable price for all and asked the guys for a quote. It was just about where I guessed it would come in at and told them to do the repairs.
Well it has been a week later and I could not be happier with the work these guys do. This is my second time coming here. The first was with my daughter’s car which they troubleshot and repaired perfectly. I brought her car back to replace a cracked window and a bad window regulator. Long story…short; they did the right by me.
