As if.
I stand by my original description of events, for whatever that is worth. That is, that is the description I was provided over the course of time, not that my car was at a dealership for two weeks... if that were to be the case, I would have taken it to a dealership myself. And, again, there was the matter of poor communication for the duration, indications that I would be called back soon, followed by the necessity of me calling back the next day (as days turned into weeks: I am NOT a problematic customer) or calling back later on the same day to catch someone in the know before close of business. Half-truths and BS do not quite gloss over the truth.

Crossfire Crash Course
It is not my intent to slam anyone, and in fact I went to this place because I had had good experience in the past, such that I considered I had finally found an honest mechanic. In this last case however, I took my Chrysler Crossfire in for inspection knowing I would need a few things fixed. I was fine with the fixes indicated, no problem there. But I was having some real problem with severely rough idling and they promised to take care of it. Unlike when I take it to a dealership, pay more but also get a demo to drive while I wait for any extended repairs, Roving kept my car for a day short of three weeks, and I had to come out of pocket for a rental. Further, it got to be where when I called, I was being promised I would get a call back. But I had to follow up my initial call with another in almost every case. I was promised the Crossfire's computer was hooked up directly with a diagnostic computer in Germany. I don't know. I was promised that the car was at a local Chrysler dealer finally, afer Roving first invited a Benz guy they knew to come have a look. When I picked up my car it was in no better running order, maybe worse, and I was out a good bit of change. A most disappointing experience, such that I am back out there with my lamp in hand, seeking an honest mechanic.

Mr Alvey brought his vehicle in to be serviced with multiple problems.  After repairing the first there seemed to be a driveabilty issue that the owner stated had been there for a while so he asked us to look at that as well.  After spending multiple days troubleshooting we were unable to diagnose this.  We communicated this to the customer and told him we were bringing the vehicle to the dealer for them to assist.  The dealership had his car for about 2 weeks and they were unable to diagnose it as well.  We are sorry for the inconvenience and we aim to please all of our customers.  Some vehicles develop some crazy problems and if we cant fix it, and the dealer cant fix it then it will need more time for diagnosis.  We are sorry for the inconvenience and any frustration that may have been caused.  No additional time had been charged for any of the 20 plus hours spent on his vehicle
