"There is no free lunch"
Transmission problem covered by warranty, so no cost to me (other than second tow job), but the transmission is not working as it once did - shifting to "drive" often requires a hard jam rather than a gentle shift to get engagement . Time will tell if the fix is a fix.

Ronald if there is a concern with the new shift lever that was acting up the second time the car came in please set up an appointment and we will address the occasional shift to drive concern.

Nancy, I am sorry to hear that you are upset with us and I know that it took a long time to get your engine authorized and sent to us from Hyundai.Also for the belt and brakes if they were that bad we should have given you a price to do the repairs so that you could have made the decision to do them. Again sorry for disappointing you and if we can do anything to help you out please let us know.

Service requirement was not complex, but it was time consuming and responsive to my inquiry. Quote on pad and rotor replacement, however, was a bit high (more than 15% above another reliable provider).

SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION ON THE TIME IT WOULD TAKE FOR THE RECALLS AND THERMOSTAT FOR THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. THE JOBS AS PER HYUNDAI LABOR TIME  TAKE 2.3 HOURS TO DO. I'M NOT SURE WHY ANYBODY SAID HALF HOUR.
