Called the store yesterday and asked if they can re program a TPMS sensor on one of my tires, as it had to be replaced, due to leak, during a trip recently and the tire shop who replaced the sensor in Lynchburg could not re program it to the car. Yesterday I called the Gainesville VTA and asked if they could do it, they said yes and there was no charge for this service. I took it in and they informed me they were unable to program the New Schraeder TPMS sensor. They then told me there was a $31.90 charge. for tire mount and removal. This company is a "BeltWay Bandit"... You cannot reach their corporate office in Tysons Corner, no number available, seems par for the course. Why do we all get a lesson from unscrupulous auto centers like these?? I complained to no avail.
On their BS web site they state and I quote " We are committed to making you 100% satisfied, we've spent more than 45 years doing things the right way, what absolute BS. They claim to be automotive experts with the TPMS sensors, which is a false claim. I would not use this company if it were the last one in VA. Do not use Virginia Tire and Auto centers, they are a 'RIP OFF" and scammers.
