Misleading and deceitful dealership
Absolutely the most misleading deceitful car dealership I have ever encountered. I have never owned a Cadillac but have owned other GM products and European cars. We sat down with the salesman in regards to a demo XTS 2017. We were opting leasing over purchase. We were told the vehicle would lease for $490 per month for 39 months with 12000 miles per year. When we chose to lease it, the payment then became almost $700 per month! The manager came out and said yes, I apologize the figures were incorrect. Really? Is this a new sales tactic? Get you ready to close the deal on a car and think you'll pay whatever the "real" price is? I wouldn't even consider purchasing, leasing or any other business with this dealership. I can only imagine what goes on in the service Department when you bring a car in for service/repairs.

Coincidence??
I recently purchased a used truck from Cadillac of South Charlotte. Sure, the staff are very friendly and accommodating - all car salesmen are. After purchasing the vehicle with zero negotiation offered (apparently it's their 'policy'), I drove my truck off the lot. A few miles down the road the front headlight FALLS OUT and slams against my hood. I pull over on the interstate, remove it and go back to the dealership. They were accommodating but merely glued the headlight back in, leaving the actual repair to me later when I have to change the headlight. FOUR DAYS after driving my truck off the lot I get a check engine light. MAP Sensor is faulty and random misfires in the spark plugs. $300 fix within four days of having the vehicle. Called Cadillac of South Charlotte and, you guessed it, they told me "the light wasn't on here." It's easy to reset the computer and have the light come on later, which is what myself and my mechanic believe happened. It's too soon after purchase for it to be a coincidence. Now I know why they wouldn't do a 30 day warranty. Friendly guys at this place, but clearly peddling used cars that will fall apart once off the lot. Not impressed.

Candace said this business did not prepare her estimate but the insurance company did. Their first communication failed. She went into the office and they did not have the parts prepared. She had to go back a second day for that. She would not recommend them due to their communication. She went to them because this is where she gets her regular service. The first time she went to this business, they did not have her in their system and she did not receive good service.

Carolyn said this business did a good job but it took three weeks, instead of the 3 days she was promised. This was due to the business receiving a damaged bumper. They had to put in the order three times. She has to go back in because one of the fog lights is not working and they need to replace a sensor on the vehicle. However, she was happy with the repair work done on her vehicle.

Juliana said she had to go back so they could get the headlight they replaced to work. They had told her in the beginning repairs would take 3 to 4 days, but instead took 2 week which caused her to miss a trip she was supposed to take. They found additional damage, which meant they had to order more parts and caused the repairs to take twice as long. They would call her with the updates, but whenever she called there she would get voice mail, no one actually answered and because the additional damaged that was missed at first causing the repairs to take twice as long the person that did the estimate was not very thorough.

Melissa said the details of the work performed were not as good as she thought they would be but they did a great job communicating with her. Her vehicle was returned to her a week later than promised due to a parts delay. They made sure she was kept updated regarding the delay. There was some orange peel left in her paint. She might be taking the vehicle back because the new door handle does not seem to be operating like the old one did. She said she understands her vehicle is old and does not expect it to be perfect.
