Hamdi said he was not satisfied with the quality of the repair. The job was not done right and was unprofessional. He has to take the vehicle back a week after the holidays to have the paint redone correctly. Where the vehicle was supposed to be painted black it is white and where it is supposed to be white it is black. There is dust from painting on the engine. When he brought the vehicle in there was a crack in the windshield approximately 2.5 inches long. When the vehicle was returned to him it was 18 inches long. Now instead of being able to repair the crack the entire windshield needs to be replaced. He has pictures he sent to the insurance before the vehicle went into the business which prove the previous size of the crack. The vehicle was not ready when promised. The estimated repair time was 4 days, but the vehicle was at the business for 32 days. Because of this the rental vehicle went over the $900 allowance from his insurance company and he had to pay for 2 days out of pocket. The delay was because some of the parts on the vehicle needed to be replaced. The parts were replaced with used or after market parts. He said the parts should have been replaced with new ones. He was not kept adequately informed during the repair process because he was not kept updated. The original estimate was for $5,300 but the business ended up requesting an additional $400. He was unsure about his satisfaction with how he was treated by the personnel. Tom is a nice guy, treats customers right, and is patient. No one else at this business has the right to work as a BMW representative. They do not treat customers right. Due to this overall experience he would not recommend this business.
