Failed to fixed their own mistakes
I chose to take my 2023 Crosstrek to Fix Auto Irvine because it is Subaru certified and recommended by insurance. My overall experience with them has been very disappointing. The drop off process and front desk staff were the only decent part of my experience with them. After dropping off my vehicle, I received a full estimate quickly of the work that was needed and was excited to have it fixed. They estimated it would take 2 weeks or less to repair. To my surprise it was ready within a few days. Unfortunately, the repair was not great. There was still dents in the door, the fender was not fully attached and the paint work was textured with dirt or debris trapped underneath. Additionally, my vehicle had speckled overspray or paint (not the same color as my car) on the entire front end including the windshield, lights and grill. I picked my car up when it was raining heavily so the front desk told me to check the vehicle at home and let them know if there was any problems. When I got my car home I noticed the issues listed above and sent them an email immediately, as it was after hours. I also called the next morning to schedule a time to bring it in to walk the car in person with them. During the second walk through, my concerns were met with a tone of indifference but he said they would work on it again and do the best they could. This time my vehicle was there much longer, which was fine by me as I assumed that it meant all of problems were being fully fixed. The next time I went back the body work on the door and the fender were fixed and looked good, but the bad paint work on the hood and the splattering were still there. The employees then questioned about where I drive as maybe I got it on the car myself while driving and not from their shop. But they agreed to try to remove it as “they couldn’t prove it didn’t happen at their shop.” After a few days it was ready for pickup. There was still speckled marks on my car but now there are scratches in the paint from where they tried to remove it. At this point I don’t trust them to try fixing it anymore. I will be taking it somewhere else to have their mistakes fixed and repainted. Fix Auto Irvine has been the worst part of getting into an accident. Do not recommend.
