We are sorry that your visit took longer than you had expected. I have reviewed your invoice and see we did an oil change, replaced a fog lamp bulb and performed an open recall. This visit did take about 1 and 1/2 hours and understand that is a long time to wait. Our goal for a basic maintenance visit is to be done in less than 1 hour. I think the bulb and the recall added to the maintenance is why this took longer.
We apologize that the repairs take longer than expected. We know your time is valuable and we appreciate you choosing us to service your Hyundai.

We apologize that the service took longer than expected. We do at times get very busy and we a working on processes that will shorten the wait times.
We understand that you can get an oil change for a few dollars less at other facilities. We apologize if you do not feel that our pricing reflects the value that you receive. In this case the $90 charge included the oil change, air filter replacement, car wash, and multi point inspection. That is not to mention the factory trained technicians, Hyundai parts, and we offer complimentary shuttle service while your car is being worked on. We hope that you are willing to give us another chance to service your Hyundai.

BUT: the reason we won't buy a hyundai again if we can help it, and certainly not from this dealership, is that for the first time in our lives we had relatively significant issues with BOTH of our Sonatas WITHIN the warranty period, and this service department, as recently as 2014, failed to address either of them as we expected. It took multiple visits for us to have the first one fixed (steering wheel locked up), and when our 2013 Sonata had a fault with the automatic speed control, the service department at that time said they couldn''t find the problem, and they could/would not provide us a loaner car while they tracked the problem down. We continue to live with in intermittently functioning automatic speed control. We never had these kinds of mechanical problems with our Hondas or our Toyotas over the years, and we never had a bad experience with our previous dealers. ... So, while i am delighted that the present Westside Hyundai service personnel carried off my recall repair so efficaciously -- this time -- THEY deserve the five starts -- I can't in good conscience rank this dealership positively. We never received any apology for our trouble with the two cars, and when we were invited to provide rating feedback at that time, no one ever contacted us nor expressed the slightest interest.
