I was in a motorcycle accident on March13, 2020 & I needed a tow to a repair facility. J's Southland Tow was called & they responded in a prompt manner. I rode my motorcycle onto their tow truck & it was fastened down to their truck. J's Southland Tow took me to work where I offered to pay for the tow & they insisted that the repair facility would pay for the tow & I would reimburse them. J's Southland Tow then took my motorcycle to Reno's Powersports. The whole trip was 26 miles and Reno's Powersports notified me that my tow bill was $505 and their was no mark up on their side. I called J's Southland Tow & they told me that their rates were $75 to load their truck & $4 per loaded mile. My calculations are the tow should have cost me $179 according to their own rates & yet I was charged $505. This is so absurd that I don't even know what to call it. I talked to one of the managers at J's Southland Tow & he said that he would mail me a check for about $130 to help make up the cost. As of yet, I still haven't received a check & it would still be that the tow would cost $200 too much
