"Reputable Mechanic "
Had a problem with my car. He stopped what he was doing and checked out my car. Drove it and reset the computer things. So far it has stayed running. Thanks Ken. I am a repeat customer

"Will not be returning to Ken Davis Auto Repair"
I brought my 2007 Matrix in because the check engine light was on. Code indicated that the thermostat needed to be replaced, which had been done a couple of months ago at this shop. Rather than warranty their work, they reset the check engine light and said to "monitor it". The check engine light came on again 5 days later. I took it to the dealership and they fixed the problem. I don't have time to "monitor" this shop's work; I need my car and they should have taken care of the problem. I was a good customer of theirs - not sure why they decided to treat me this way.

I'm sorry that you thought we changed the thermostat but it was the coolant temp sensor.  Have tried to call and talk with you with no success.  Please call me if you would like further information.

"Honest & Dependable!!!!!"
I've been taking all my vehicles, including my diesel "pusher" RV, to Ken Davis Auto for years and would not even consider
using another auto shop, no matter what the advertised "specials" might be with other companies. Their honest, always take
care of my problems and as far as I'm concerned they are will worth the money.

"Repairs completed after hit and run"
The team at Ken's took care of this out of town visitor after a hit and run driver rammed the back of my car and drove off. They did an excellent job and it was a blessing to spend a little time with good people after such a bad experience. Highly recommend them!!

"Transmission fails to shift intermittently"
The transmission fails to shift intermittently; it needs a new one, which is very expensive. Instead, he put two qts of Lucas transmission fix in it; now it works like it should. This stemmed from the fact that I had noticed that it worked fine when the weather was cold. Ken explained that when it was hot and the transmission fluid thinner, it tended to seep around the seals and not provide the environment the unit needs to shift properly. Making it thicker should solve the problem, which it did. Ken always saves me money.

"Great People"
I have been taking my vehicles to Ken for the last 4 years. Jerry, Chad, and Ken are all phenomenal mechanics and very wonderful people. They have been working on my piece of junk, 2002 Ford Explorer, that has over $25K worth of work in it and keeps it going. Why do I keep it, because there is so much money in it, I would never get even close to what I have in it. Ken said, drive it until it dies! Ken has been very accomodating for me in all the years that I have been going there. I was referred to him by another mechanic and so glad that he was! Good, honest mechanic. Very hard to find anyone honest these days.
