Review for Momentum BMW Mini-Body Shop
Samantha T. on 09/10/2011
Samantha said she rated 2 for her overall experience for the following reasons. She stated she felt the time they kept her vehicle, 2 months, was too long and every time she called they said it was in quality control, but when she got her vehicle it was a mess inside and it wasn't washed. In addition, none of the lights worked, and the passenger side rear panel is loose, which is the area where they did the work. She fixed the lights by replacing a fuse, and when she called they told her she could take it back for the loose panel, but it's not convenient since she lives an hour away, and she's not happy. Everything else looks good. They said it would probably take 2 weeks on the original estimate, but they called a month later and said the fender wasn't right and they'd have to call the insurance company back. Samantha understood that, but she didn't understand why it still took another month after that. The e-mails they sent were awesome so she was kept adequately informed but rated them 4 on a scale of 1-5 because she had to call them many times. Samantha commented she didn't understand why it went through quality control 2 times. The estimate went from $5,000 up to $8,000 so she wasn't satisfied with the thoroughness of the estimator. She was satisfied with treatment because some of the people were great, but treatment could have been better and she didn't elaborate. She wasn't satisfied with communication as noted above because she had to call many times. Samantha wouldn't go back again for collision work after this experience. She chose them because they're a Jaguar business, but she's just upset with the whole deal. She just didn't expect any of this and she's just not used to this, so she's frustrated. Samantha has experienced good quality service and when she got bad service, she could only question what was wrong.
