We appreciate being able to respond to Mr. Q's concern about our pricing on his last appointment. Because he has brought his car to us for previous service, we violated our long-standing policy of not installing customer-supplied parts (as this has led to problems in the past - most dealerships follow the same policy). When we quoted $20-30, it was based on a typical installation of a low-beam bulb. The published labor rate for this specific job on this car is actually .6 of 1 hour and at the dealer advertised labor rate of $169, this would have resulted in a charge of $101.00 before sales tax. We are sorry Mr. Q. was disappointed in our charge but we had already adjusted his bill to try and keep the final closer to our initial estimate.
While Renn Haus makes every effort to return vehicles back to clients as soon as possible, we do have to shuffle services around to ensure that all normal services are done the same day(if possible).
