A dirty alternator doesn't need replacement.
A good service writer would use a test to determine whether a 4 month old alternator is malfunctioning. Dirt doesn't mean its bad. I reccomend you pick another local shop who'll test a part prior to quoting replacement.

Consistency, efficiency, friendliness
I have said it in reviews before, but I will say it again. I was a VW owner for years. I'd take my car in for an oil change, and it might take 6 hours for them to complete it -- and usually at a cost that would make me choke. Not so with Hyundai, specifically Shortline. Always greate service, done quickly and efficiently, and at a reasonable cost. Keep up the good work, Shortline!

Attention to detail
Work was done Genesis is the top of the line but here kind of treated like a regular Hyundai owner. If you want to compare to Lexus BMW etc. the service needs to get a little bit better.
