I took my car to Downtown Automotive to repair an annoying light fixture problem. It was hanging and
every turn I made it banged into the window of the second row seat of my Jeep.
The car is a 2005 model, and when they tried to rescrew it, the old plastic fittings crumpled. Now it was worse. With some we imagination of glue and new screw nuts, they fixed it and proactively repaired the light in the other door…it would also be breaking soon. But now they are both brand new and held tighter with nuts and bolts….metal rather than aging plastic.
