2023 Santa Fe Hybrid

Great car, many great features. The metal the auto is made of seems light and a noise in the rear compartment that is light, but annoying. Finally on the Hybrid no spare tire, they use a blow unit in the hatch compartment

Excellent Hybrid vehicle with a fuel efficient 4 cylinder turbo engine that uses 87 octane gasoline and a 600 range on a full tank which is wonderful

My 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid is one of the best vehicles I've owned

The vehicle does what it advertises. It is comfortable, efficient, is excellent on a long trip, has very good mileage and cargo capacity. I would buy it again.

Fantastic Car

We love everything about our 2023 Sante Fe Hybrid! Pretty car inside and out. Comfortable ride, very luxurious and all the bells and whistles plus more. Great mileage, gas lasts for ever. Wouldn't be happier.

Comfortable ride, good gas mileage

We use our Santa Fe Hybrid for all our road trips such as skiing, vacations inside the US, and visiting friends and relatives. It is a great car for that, as it is comfortable, as a good entertainment system and amenities, gets 32 mpg on the highway, and has plenty of room for my wife and I, and all our luggage and toys. The all-wheel drive has also been great in snow and rain conditions. I'm at 42K miles and maintenance has been pretty standard. I only had one problem with an oil leak on the upper oil pan, but it was fixed by Hyundai under warranty.

Loved overall but could’ve used a better design for cabin filter

Overall, I absolutely love my Hyundai Santa Fe. There are a few issues I’ve noticed and can be rather annoying and time consuming. Due to manufacturer poor planning, when the maintenance team removes the cabin filter, leaves always get stuck in the blower motor or in the space that the cabin filter is housed in and it takes multiple attempts by the dealership to get them out after trying to remove them initially . I have wasted numerous hours going back-and-forth to the dealership or them picking my vehicle up from work to be able to clean out this space from the leaves that don’t want to leave. We also live in a very cold Midwest state, and my hybrid does not love being cold. The battery whines on those really cold days unless I let it run for 20 to 30 minutes prior to using it. The gas mileage is also not favorable in the cold months. I get the same gas mileage as my grandpa’s 2017 Dodge Ram truck does in those cold days.

It's a keeper!

We inspected and drove a wide variety of midsize vehicles in this category. We are very satisfied with our purchase of the 2023 Santa Fe Hybrid with our list of requirements: Hybrid, Turbo, Comfort, Cargo Space, 6 speed auto, Warranty. We avoided all vehicles with a CVT and dual clutch transmissions. No spare tire was a negative and we purchased a spare that fits under the rear space. We were glad we purchased the 2023 before the model makeover to the boxy 2024.

Awesome Ride!

I love my 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. The safety features was one of selling points in making the decision to purchase this vehicle. The vehicle is comfortable to drive, has great handling and I love the gas mileage. I highly recommend this vehicle - it is even better than I expected.

Expected better gas mileage for a hybrid

The first month or two, the mileage, especially in town was good with an average of 34 mpg. Unfortunately, over the past two years or so, I am lucky to see 23 mpg in town, same type of traveling over past few years.

We had always purchased vehicles from US manufacturers but when looking for a new hybrid SUV, the Hyundai Santa Fe was by far the best in our price range. We are very pleased with its performance, comfort level, space and fuel efficiency. Totally wowed by all the safety features - our previous SUV had only a backup camera.
