He broke my gas cap...
I've taken my car there for smog checks and oil changes in the past. The owner is very nice. but the mechanic who did the smog check returned my car and told me the gas cap was broken (wasn't before I brought it in!) then made a big scene about how he could have failed my car on several points but didn't, how my car is so old, that the cap was broken, etc... yelling at me that if I want him to pay for a cap for my old car he'd pay... all very dramatic, lots of yelling, i just paid for the certificate and left. I like the owner, i just will never go back as i don't trust the mechanic or want that creature near my car. especially after yelling at me in a waiting room with 6 other people.

Hi Phillip, I am sorry you did not feel your visit at A-Plus was enjoyable. I am sure this is just a misunderstanding. Sometimes techniciens are not good communicators while they are very good at their repair and service jobs. That is why the owner or manager is responsible to communicate any results or issues to the customers. We advise customers to talk to the manager or owner rather than talking to the techniciens directly but your point is well taken that the techniciens should be more friendly if they do talk to the customers.
