Concern and Customer Service
When having my oil changed at a dealership I was told my battery needed to be changed, it was still under warranty BUT since i had not bought the battery from the dealership, I needed to find a parts place that would honor the warranty. I am a 73 year old woman ALONE and was over an hour drive from home and not familiar with the area but located a auto parts store that also could not honor the warranty BUT they helped me find a certified garage that should be able to help me. With Google Maps I drove to Tim Reece/Advantage Auto. I was greeted by Juanita and she told all the documentation I had on the battery, gave me a bottle of cold water and ask that I sit while she made some calls with the battery documents. They needed a battery test reading done by Tim. Tim stopped what he was doing and did the test. He said the position of my car battery was difficult to get a reading and his test were giving him ERROR message. So he reposition my battery so he could get better contact on the battery and got 12.79 and 690 .
(The dealership reading was 12.6 and 235) . The good news: I did not need a battery! Tim secured my battery and did not charge me for all his time, or use of his equipment, or Juanita's time. CUSTOMER SERVICE 100%
