I hate to say it, but of all the Ford dealerships I've been to this is the first time I have felt that I was taken advantage of. I usually default to the dealerships because they have a vested interest in long term relationships in the hope of selling you your next car. I only payed for a $40 check up service which included oil change and basic check up on basic wear an tear (a great deal)). I was told I needed new brakes, and rotors due to wear. I decided that I would be able to change them much cheaper and truly appreciated the information. There were 4-5 different things totaling about $900-about what I figured it would look like at 100k service. When I had a friend do my breaks I was thinking I could get the rotors turned for much cheaper than replaced (the man at ford did not even suggest that as an option). Upon removing the breaks (evenly 3/4 worn) and looking at the rotor we can't tell even on a slight level why he was suggesting they needed to be replaced. I feel that he attempted to take advantage of my ignorance and no longer trust them on even an oil change level. Needless to say the other $600+ of service will not be taking place there either. They didn't even wash the car...Also why I love the dealer, they always wash my car. I'm giving 2 stars rather than 1 only because I only have one experience to base my opinion on. Unfortunately, I will never have a second.
