I feel I was being fleeced.
2 years ago my experience with your garage went well. This time during an inspection, I felt my questions weren't being answered to my satisfaction. I called a local inspection station and he confirmed what I was suspecting. Not passing my inspection because of a sensor light traced back to my spare was not a valid reason to fail me. Would you have tried to do this if I were a guy? I think not!!

Ms. Lane, I'm sorry you feel that we failed your car's inspection for an unvalid reason and that your questions weren't being answered. I assure you that "The Tire Pressure Warning Light" is a valid reason for failure. Section 2 from the Vermont Inspection Manual states: Reject vehicle if: Low-pressure air warning light/indicator is activated We even called the people in Montpelier who create these rules to make sure there hasn't been any recent changes that aren't listed in the current manual. It was confirmed by them that if the light is on, the vehicle inspection fails. I would love to have a second chance to do a better job of answering any questions you may have. Thanks, Bob
