We needed a gasket and got a full price oild change including filter plus a new oil pan for a total cost of $500 plus.
Wow!! for a 12 year old car worth about 1300. ... could have bought a lot of oil fro that much.
The price included a $99 PCM. We opted not to replace it because the almost $1000 cost plus $500 already paid exceeds the car's worth.
We aren't to sure whether the latter was even necessary when we remembered Precision Tune wanted $800 for an aircon fix that we had done elsewhere for a $10 replacement.

Unfortunately, having an older car worth less does not make the costs come down to repair it. I'm not sure how to respond to something that happened at Precision Tune?
